We arrived in Memphis!!! This is the half-way point. We made good time with out any issues. All of the drivers have to give a “shout out” to Brother Allen Thompson, Usher Serving Team. The information that he gave us was really helpful.
Did someone say challenges? I continue to believe that each obstacle that we encounter is just another trick of the enemy to keep us from enjoying the view on this journey.
So, go figure; have you ever made a reservation for rooms, received confirmations for all of them and then secured them with a “good” credit card? The way it’s supposed to work is… You walk in, give your name and confirmation number, and then after a few moments, you receive keys and directions to your rooms…right? Not so, no one can really understand how seven confirmations equals 4 rooms.

We thank G_d again that we have a great team of Chaperones who did some quick thinking and with some persistence secured great rooms in fairly short order. The best thing out of all of this is that the students were very patient. After all who wants to sit in a van a moment longer than you have to when you’ve been sitting for about 5+ hours. Not one complaint or attitude. Yes these are really your children…I think the change has begun.

I think the change has begun
