Just a quick note,
I know that it seems as if your students are being worked to the bone. We really get up early, pray, work, eat, reflect, play, laugh, work, worship, reflect and sleep.
Hello student missionaries and adult leaders.
As I write this I’m sure you all are well on your way to starting another exciting day of helping people. I want you to know that there is no greater act in life than what you do to help those in need. So students I’m so pleased that you have answered the call, stepped up and made yourself available. Your time and work there will not only bring positive change to the lives of those you’re helping, but also to your own lives. Isn’t it wonderful to know you where more ready than you realized?
Sounds like the ministry of missions is in full bloom; rising early, work, prayer, reflection, laughter, play, more work, rest and sleep: sounds like a good balance to me! I think that often times we as adults can find ourselves getting in the cycle of trying so hard to give our kids what we didn’t have….that we tend to neglect giving them that which we did have; work, sacrifice and delayed gratification! Those attributes are indeed the things that build character.
I enjoyed the story by Josh. Sounds like you are learning from others mistakes. That is an excellent teacher!
Be blessed, continue the character building and continue being a blessing!
Loving the blog!! Thanks for keeping us up to date. I am fully enjoy thus far the pictures as well as the student interviews Keep moving forward and stay LIQUID!
You are doing an excellent job and we are all very proud of you! I love the blog updates and pictures. Us mommy’s miss our babies. Keep working hard and remember:

I have a very early work morning(for me at least) today but I had to take a moment and let all of you know, youth and adults know how extremely, exceedingly, exceptionally and tremendously proud I am of all of you. I have read all of the post and must say that I have been SO inspired and convicted at the same time. While this is your third mission trip I have never been on one, even though I have been working with the youth all the while. My one and only real reason for not going were the conditions I knew we would be staying in. I told a friend(guess who) that I would be down for the cause as soon as you guys started staying in hotels. In reading what Josh and Sydni(so sorry if I spelled it wrong forgot to copy it) I remember that YOU(me) being comfortable is not what missionary work is about it’s about changing the lives of others! I live in comfort, excessive comfort, 365 days a year. I can(and WILL) take a week away from my “comfort” to deeply impact the life of someone else. I am excited and cant wait to serve with you all next year. Again I am SOSOSOSOSOSO VERY proud of ALL of you
Just a note to say that we are so very proud of all of you. Your dedication is definitely inspiring. Your sacrifices and hard work are showing those you are helping that there is a GOD. Through helping others you are also building character within yourselves. Even when nobody’s watching, GOD is. And He knows whether you’ve done the right thing or the wrong thing. There is never a time when “nobody’s watching.” Somebody is always watching over you–and that “Somebody” is your Father in Heaven. Keep Him Smiling!
And to the Banks girls and friends…your ‘mini me’ is now imitating Erykah Badu by singing with her fingers up her nose.

Hey Missionaries,
I know you all are working hard, helping those who need it and becoming better people. Everyone here awaits your return.
And Jeremy, we can’t wait to see you tomorrow. I hope you had a great experience; you’ll have to tell me all about it.
